Dealing with Money While Traveling

If there’s one major inhibitor to people going out and experiencing the world, it’s usually rooted in money.  Everyone initially believes that money and travel go hand in hand. Many people assume that adventure and life itself will wait until they’ve saved up a considerable amount of wealth.

But the world doesn’t wait.  And time is in agreement.

It’s possible to being traveling the world anytime. Anyone can travel independently on a small budget after saving or earning.

Overall, most forms of travel only require a small amount of money and some money management skills.  Afterwards, a person can stay mobile and see a significant breadth of the world.

Best regards and excellent trails,

Old Sean Thoughts

“During my first tour of Europe, I was barely nineteen years old. I was ping-ponging through various European nations with barely a solid thought in my summer-vacation head. At one point, some very polite thieves in Hamburg cleaned me out of all my remaining money. The next few days of my life depended on a bottle of Russian Standard Vodka; I poured out random shots at campsites until I found a new friend willing to give me a place to sleep that night.

This process got me all the way back to my outbound flight in Istanbul, where I got to the airport with a mere seven lira to my name.

A half decade later, I returned to Europe. I had been hired by a brochure company to visit various tourism locations for interviews, photographs and reviews. My hotels were paid for each night, my meals were reimbursed and city-to-city trains and flights only required that I show up.

But at the end of all things, when I tell people stories, the ramshackle adventure I had, living life day to day, companion to companion and country to country are the tales I recall most fondly.

Best regards and excellent trails,”
