Again On The East
After a couple of days of driving through the southeastern portion of the United States, I rolled into Savannah, Georgia.
While this might seem like a random stop, I’m primarily visiting Savannah to see my younger brother, who’s currently attending SCAD in the area.
During my visit, we played several rounds of old school Halo while I roundly horrified his roommates through use of my normal personality.
Later, while wandering campus, my brother lost his car key, we joined his girlfriend for dinner and I dipped my beard in ice cream.
It was a nice celebratory visit. I’m resolutely proud of my little brother and he seems to be thriving in Savannah.
My main recommendations for Savannah include Fire Street Food (an Asian Fusion place) and Leopold’s Ice Cream, which is a local institution of traditional university treats.
I’m heading slightly north next.
